Introducing the Introduction/Recapping the Kappa

This workshop serves to support the final stages of composition in a PhD thesis, whether it is by compilation or written as a monograph. The workshop aims to improve the robustness of the kappa that contains your thesis, or of the key chapter that introduces it. In 2020 this is a voluntary workshop open to all candidates in year 3 and above.

10:00 - 11:00 - Welcome and introductions

11:00 - 12:00 - Professor Rune Johan Krumsvik at the University of Bergen will give a lecture about the formal requirements of the ‘kappe’/exegesis. Although this lecture is a part of the course, all are welcome to join.

13:00 - 15:00 - All participants give a 15 min presentation of their submission
